The Dutch power grid can no longer handle our growing demand for energy, creating a new reality: it matters when we use it. To bring that message to life, we created the eKlok: a new kind of device, available as a physical object, app and widget, that shows people the best times to use energy. More than a useful tool, the eKlok became a conversation starter that helped put energy timing on the public agenda.
